PRODUCT NOTES

The DS-6I-0283 cylinder head outer valve spring can be used for intake and exhaust in the following Caterpillar engine models:

  • 3054 and 3054B naturally aspirated with an engine serial number prefix of:
    • 5HK
    • 5YS
    • 6FK
    • 7BJ
    • 9RM
  • 3054 turbocharged with an engine serial number of 6FK1 and above
  • 3054 turbocharged (Piston Grade K or Piston Grade L) with an engine serial number of 7BJ1 and above
  • 3056 and 3056B naturally aspirated with an engine serial number prefix of:
    • 3GW
    • 7AK
    • 7MS
    • CKS
  • 3056 naturally aspirated or turbocharged with an engine serial number prefix of 1ML

This item is a new replacement part shipped with a 12-month warranty.
